Hi this will be my last post for the year. Just thought I'd post a couple of photo's of the handmade xmas cards I recieved this year, some are from customers others are from fellow demo's, If you are one of the people who sent me a handmade card, thankyou so much I love it, especially from those who thought " I'd never be able to make cards!"

Morning everyone,
The world wide web is such a wonderful resource,over the past few days I have had the pleasure of blog surfing for fun, no particular project to look for. I came across these candy cane holders on Becky Roberts site and instead of saving as a favourite, I chose to make it there and then. He is super cute,lots of fun, I will probably do these next year with my daughter for her friends and perhaps during a class at the end of 2011, but that's too far away to think about just yet.

Todays card is an easel card using The Good Cheer stamp set found on pg 29 of the Aus/Nz current Catalogue.
These past couple of days I have enjoyed just stamping for pleasure, plus sorting my ideas into classes for 2011, to date, I know what I am going to do up until April, so I am happy about that.

Now the close up of the card. I think he did a fantastic job, not his or my original design, I cased it off the web last year, and he's cased me this year... The weekend is upon us already. School holidays begin next week here. The year has flown by far too quickly. Today's photo is of my 2nd child making a Christmas card for his teacher from last year in Melbourne, he is 12 years old and since we've moved he keeps in contact with her on a monthly basis, which is lovely. This photo is extra special for me as my son broke his arm the following day, and now is out of action for awhile. Hope you like it..

More craft stall projects

I told you I'd be back... The Christmas party was last night, that I had my stall at. I went with an open mind and thought I'd be really happy if I sold about half the projects I'd made, I also thought what doesn't sell I could keep and use as presents this year. Well I have to say I sold 3/4 of what I made, and came out with a nice little profit, I also have a few gifts already sorted and just need to make a few more, the gift card holders were very popular, as were the choc pull treats and covered kit kats. Morning everyone,
Todays card is A case that I got in a swap. I've used Cherry Cobbler run thru the dotty folder on the bigshot. So swirly wheel on the Wild Wasabi card stock. On this card I have used choc chip ink to ink up dasher and stamped him on Naturals Ivory. The perfect punches stamp set was also used.

Now you can step this card up by spraying shimmer paint onto the cardstock after its been thru the bigshot, plus by mixing shimmer paint with ink refill, add directly to Dasher stamp and stamp for some lovely shimmer...plus you could add Dimontees onto the antlers. This has been quite a popular card this month for workshops.

Morning all. Today is the last day of the week, Today I am going to post the projects I made for my Secret Sister, each month over the course of the 3 months we had to send at least 2 cards and a small gift each month. Todays projects shows what I sent in August.

Another week is slipping by, and really I don't have much to show for it.
Today's project is one I got off  http://www.ustampforlara.com.au/ you can join this and have access to tutorials every day for a month, the money goes to a very good cause, you can read about it over there at site mentioned.
This project would make a great xmas present or one to give to someone who likes to be organised for xmas but may need a helping hand.

Time for another Christmas card. I'm not sure about you,but my time is slipping away far too quickly, its just over 1month until school finishes for another year. Christmas is approx 5 weeks away, I have barely started my Christmas card making and gifts well that is another story. Todays card is one I have been doing at workshops of late,it is quick and easy and you can make it in approx 10 mins, so its a great one to mass produce. It uses the "Seasons of Joy" stamp set, Holly Jolly paper and olive ribbon, plus wild wasabi, cherry cobbler and very vanilla cardstock.

My 2 boys are off to a their friends 13th Birthday tomorrow, this is the card I made, its a spinner card, first time I have made one of these, and Now I'm not so sure why I left it this long before trying one. I've used the stamp set "Seaworthy" one that I got last year and rarely use. Enjoy and have a good weekend.

With only 50 odd days until Christmas... I think it's about time that I do a Christmas card A week, Today's card I cased from Caroline Colgan, she had created this card for UStamp, It was pretty easy but looks really good. I have used holiday lineup. Often I recreate cards that I have seen pretty much to a T, then I remake them again in either colours I like or in a different way. Hope you like it.

NO cards today. Just a photo of my 2 youngest dressed up in there Halloween costumes, they both went trick or treating this year for the first time, What do you think of there costumes???

I made these cute "Halloween" cards and box a few weeks ago, I have been dying to show you. I know we don't really celebrate it here in Australia, however some places we move to, there is lots of trick or treating going on, Here where we are this time, there is a Halloween Party for the children, plus many houses in the area put black balloons on there letterbox to show they support trick or treaters...

Hi everyone, Hope you have all had a terrific weekend. Today's card is an easel card, there has been quite a few floating around blog land of late. I decided to give it a try last week, my daughter(8yrs) said that would look great with a photo of me and my friend. So this what I have created, we will make another one to give to her friend, as her friend is moving over East in the next few weeks. These would look good as Christmas cards as well, with pictures of your children to give to there grandparents. I have made the scallop circles using the big shot. 2 classes for November

Hi everyone,
Time is just flying by, Hard to believe Christmas is just 8 weeks away now. During November I am running 2 different classes, 1 being a Christmas card class and also a Christmas gift making class.
Christmas card class is being held Tues 9th Nov 7.30 to 9.30pm, Wed 10th 10am to 12, and Sat 13th 2 to4pm. Cost is $15 if you are in the Perth region- western suburbs and interested in coming please email me.

 2nd class dates are
Tues 16th 7.30 to 9.30pm, Wed 17th 10am to 12, Sat 20th 2 to 4pm

Last week I mentioned that I had got together with a couple of other demonstrators and we shared each others stamps etc. Well the card below is one I created on the weekend using the sets, I had stamped the background of the white piece with stamps from "Extreme Elements" pg  52 $47.95 (6), and stamped the Guitarist in Concord crush, Guitarist can be found on pg 53 $18.95.
I am quite pleased with how this turned out. What do you think?

Hi Guys, Here is a card I made the other morning before school. I just love bird houses, this one was featured in the US's Stampin Success magazine for US demonstrators, anyway I just had to try.
I have used Daffodil Delight as the main card with choc chip,old olive and Cherry cobbler. The owl is from forest friends and the circles in the background are from Trendy trees. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Another week is almost over. I Had a get together with a couple of other demo's yesterday, so we got to share our swaps with each other, share stamp sets and other card ideas and we also did like a show and tell of what we've been up to. Recently I posted different Ideas using the bird punch, this took me ages to do, another demo on one of the forums I am on, offered a sampler page of other ideas for the owl punch, so I purchased it, anyway I thought I'd include the photo here, hope you enjoy and make some.

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend. School is back for us this week, I have really enjoyed the slow pace of the holidays, ah well only another 10weeks until the next lot...
Some time ago I bought a tutorial off Becky Roberts, well this past week I have finally got around to trying it out. Next one I do I will have to change the measurements slightly to fit our Envelopes, but as a first go, I am very happy with it. What do you think?

Holidays are almost over. I've finished one novel and almost finished another. I have done a bit of creating, however I still have a NEW set that I have yet to put together and ink, quite disappointed within myself, however I will get there.
Today I am going to show you some projects that I got from my Secret Sister, I have taken part in this on one of the forums I am on, basically we send 2 hand made cards and 1 gift per month for 3 mths, in the last month you send her something off her Wish list, and basically spoil her, its been lots of fun, although at times I've stressed will she like it etc. Her favourite colours are chocolates, kiwi kiss colour, me I am a purple, blueish so very contrast. I will show some of the cards/gifts I have recieved and next month when she knows that I am her secret sister I will show you what I Have made.

Time is flying by so quickly, we are in October already, which means Christmas is less than 12 weeks away... School holidays here for 1 more week, I bet his will just fly by.
Today I am showing you a chart I made up, following a request from a customer who purchased the bird punch, it shows other ways to use it. Hope this gives you some inspiration to pull yours out and give it a try or purchase one.

October Classes

Hi there everyone,
Here is a photo of the cards we will be making  3of each of the 2 designs. Cost will be $15. Dates are Tues evening the 19th Oct, Wed 20th am 10am to 12, Sat 23rd  2 to 4pm.

Wow this year is flying by, there is only approx 12 weeks until xmas... We are already half way thru our first week of school holidays, not much to show for it. Hi everyone, Welcome to another week, I had a great day at Regionals, met some lovely ladies, got some fantastic swaps which I'll show you in coming days, plus the make and takes. We got "Every Moment" stamp set for FREE and we did 4 make and takes using this set, we also got to play with new product, which for the majority of us we have yet recieved.(postage takes awhile to the west coast).
