Male Card
I'm having lots of fun playing with the Open Sea stamp set that is in the current mini ( this ends at the end of March) so get in quick. Today's card came about as I had found a blank card laying around with the woodgrain stamped front, (leftover from a class last year) so decided to use that to make this card and the rest just came together, nice and simple yet effective. Sorry about the shadow I took it last night.
I will post the Easter class later next week as it is still a fair way off.
Have a great weekend

Cracked Glass Technique
Last week I got together with a group of Demo friends, we try to do this once a month. Each month we usually catch up on things and learn something new. This time Gail was showing us how to do the Cracked Glass Technique. This is the finished card of what I did. It is very hard to see any difference in the bird part, however if you look real close you may see cracks in it, my photography skills are not very good.
To do this technique you do layer upon layer of clear embossing, then when its nice and thick you pop it into the freezer for approx 5 to 10 min and then you carefully bend it so that it cracks. I am sure there would be proper instructions over at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/
Hope you like it.

The other week I came across a tutorial to make a bag from Jenny Hayward's blog using the SAB papers. Well I just had to try it. I loved how it turned out, however I will tweak it, as I'd like to make it smaller to hold cards better, this however would be a lovely way to give a gift...
The cards with it uses the new Sale-a-bration dsp. loving it..
Happy Stamping

Case of the Catty..
The other day I challenged myself to choose a card out of the main catalogue and case it with what I had, I chose the card on page65, it is pretty much the same, this took me out of my comfort zone a bit, however it was great to do something new, I am going to use this catalogue more as an inspirational tool, there really is some lovely ideas inside...
Have a great day
