17th Birthday card

Yesterday was our eldest's 17th Birthday, This is the card I made for him. He liked the Neverending card of the Rubik's cube I did last month, but realistically how many boys keep there cards, so instead of putting in heaps of work, just for him to throw out, I did this card instead. What do you think?

August's Class

Next month(August) see's quite a lot of stamp sets retire, now I don't know what is retiring to be exact, but if the US list is anything to go by then it will be big and Sad..
These 2 sets used in the cards below are one's that went on there's (flight of a butterfly and trendy trees both on pg 76 of the current Catalogue), I haven't used both of these for awhile, so it was lovely to have a play again.
We will be making 6, 3 of the male and 3 of the female, there is 2 designs of the female ones as I couldn't decide which one I liked the best, so rather than me choosing you can, you can make 2 of 1, and 1 of the other, your choice...
DATES: Wed 8th Aug 7.30 to 9.30pm
               Thurs 9th Aug 10am to 12
               Sat 11th Aug 2 to 4pm
COST: $15 ( $5 payable when you 1st book in, non refunded if you cancel) rest payable at the class, ( includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments)

Happy 21st

My best friend's daughter turns 21 on friday, This is the card I made her, I really love this layout and have used it many times this year. I recieved one myself for my 40th last year ( head back to that post to check that one out).

This is another flip flop card, done in concord crush and wisteria, Certainly simpler.

I have been creating

Now I have been creating, I photographed quite a few today, A few weeks ago I got together with fellow demo's for a crafting morning and we were shown how to do a flip flop card, well I found it quite tricky to do, however I think I have my head around it now, I watched several UTube on how to create it, I played,wrecked heaps of cardstock and then finally got one I am happy with, I cased some of this card, however instead of using dsp with it I chose to use the woodgrain stamp, this would make a great Man's card! What do you think?

Apologies..

For not updating my blog for so long.. I have been working pretty much full time, with the odd day off to run classes, so I haven't reallly stamped for pleasure for ages.
This card I am showing today is another I have cased off the web, showing what you can do with the flower from the mixed bunch stamp set, I have cut the top petal and bottom petal off to make a butterfly( this set is in the current mini that runs out at the end of this month), I don't own this set, however a few of my lovely customers do, and I thought this could show them an extra way to use this set.
