These are the Hand Made Christmas cards that I have recieved this year to date. Some great ideas here.
The Champagne glimmer paper that has been used in a few is just  gorgeous. This is only available in our current holiday catalogue until the end of January 2013.

Secret Santa gifts

At my last classes for the year we each bring a homemade gift to the value of $5 wrapped and for swapping.Below are the gifts I made. A Covered notebook and a pkt of Tic Tacs covered. Pretty cute huh!

A Handmade Gift from a Customer/friend

At my last class for the year, my lovely customer made me this, it is an origami bear. How gorgeous is that, and she folded each piece and put it together, a lot of work went into this, I will treasure it always, such a lovely reminder of  her - thankyou Brooke. I will keep it on my hutch as display.

At my last classes for the year, I gave all the ladies a little Christmas gift. A pouch with some coffee and a candy cane, this idea came from Monica from many many passions, I love here work.

Last Class for the Year...

This will be the last class I will be running for the year, as Christmas is so close, everyone is so Busy, and we leave/move just after Christmas, back to Melbourne, so we need to pack and Drive back. So if you are in Melbourne we are moving to Yallambie, Classes will start back up in February once we have settled in, and Children are at there new schools.
This last class we are making a Tea Caddy and Xmas card, bit tricky to see it in the photo, these are quite popular. At this class if you are attending we are doing a Kris Kringle where you need to bring something homemade and wrapped to the value of $5 or less, to go into a basket for someone else, you will also get to choose from the basket as well, a fun way to end the year.

           Sat 1st Dec 2 to 4pm

When I was thinking about  buying the Web embossing folder, I googled different ways  to use it. In a previous post you saw the Halloween card, well when I saw this card, I just had to try it. My boys are far to old for Spiderman cards, gee its cute and so simple to do.

Christmas Gift Making Class

Hard to believe its a whole year since our last Christmas Gift Class, these classes are very popular as we create projects other than cards, so if you wish to attend please make sure you book in as soon as you can.

Happy Halloween...

Not that this is something that we really celebrate in Australia, Lots of children still like to dress up and go trick or treating locally.
Today's card is one I found on the net and just had to try it, I've used the spider web embossing folder and the little spider out of the current holiday catalogue, Ghouly Ghools. it is such a fun set.

One of my lovely Customers left her order with me to have a play with her new stamps until I next saw her. This card is using Established Elegance, this set is a set I haven't even thought of buying so it was lovely to have a play. I did find it hard to come up with ideas for using it though, I also did a card layering it as well, this I will show another day.

First of November's classes

November I will be running 3 different classes, 2 weeks apart from each other, so mark them in your diary, and let me know that you want to come.
The first class that I will be running, we will be making 6 cards 2each of the 3 shown, 1 of these designs were used at my Catalogue launch, however I have had request to make more especially from those who couldn't attend the launch.

Another cased card

This time I have cased a card from Mary Fish's site. I love the rose embossing folder and it has been so long since I have got it out to play with, I have also used the Core'dinations cardstock in the holiday mini, once I put it thru the bigshot I sanded off the top to give a whiteish look. Nice and easy to put together and very effective..

A Super Simple Christmas card

Morning, Today's card is Super simple, one that can be mass produced if needed. It's using the Awesome Owl Stamp set that is in the Current Holiday mini, I love this guy, I really need to spend more time creating with him,..
I've used crumb cake card stock however you could use what ever colour you like, then stamp the owls on top of each other, I used clear stamp set for this one, so I could see where  to put them however if you have the wood stamp set, you could use your stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up. Not that you can see, I have added glitter to the top owl's hat.

Cased Christmas Card

This card I saw on our Stampin'Up! global forum/gallery it was first created by Dawn O a US Demo, behind each cutout (framelit) is ribbon, to make this card much simpler you could use Double sided paper behind instead. Still it was fun and easy to create, if you didn't have these framelits at home you could use punches instead.

Challenge card..

Tonight was the last night to enter in the Challenge card for our Team, the card needed to be a Christmas card using non traditional colours and using new product,
Mine is similar to one that I saw on the web, however I saw this cool technique done using out new tule, and heating the centre of it with the heat tool to make it gather, this is what I have done on this card also I have put an antique brad on it and a jewel in the star. What do you think, these colours certainly aren't my usual colours however I am happy with how it looks.

October class

This month we are doing something a little bit different. I saw this on Becky Roberts site a long time ago, and have been putting off making it, well I did and a few customers asked me to run a class so here it is. Its a cake mix enclosed /wrapped to look like a back pack, open the front flap and there is 2 test tubes for you to put your sprinkles in etc, in the front pocket is a note card.

In Between working most days I have had the opportunity to play some more with my new products, Today's card is a case from our Global Stampin'Up! forum, I'm unsure who the original creator was however I have changed it slightly and used some of the Champagne glimmer paper out of the current Holiday catalogue, it is gorgeous...

Tahlia has been invited to so many parties of late.. Below are the 2 cards that she has made for Girls in the coming weeks. She drew the pictures on scrap paper, let me know what colours she wanted to use and then I prepared it for her and she put them together. She has done a great job. What do you think?

Ok There is so much to LOVE in the 2 New Stampin'Up! Catalogue's. The card Below uses the Stamp Set Postage Due this is found on Pg 108 of the new Main Catty Clear set is $29.95 ( 4 stamps) or Wood mounted $37.95. I don't own this set yet, however a friend who went to Convention, kindly stamped me a few images, to have a play with - Thanks Wendy. The Second Picture below is the NEW Cookie stamps, they come with a recipe as well - Bonus, I just changed the flours, to make them Gluten Free and they lasted almost a week ( I hid them in the cupboard) These can be found in both the Holiday Catalogue on pg 15 $29.95 for 3 and pg 161 of the main Catalogue. Lots of fun for both Adults and Children.

Tahlia's Birthday

Last weekend it was Tahlia's 10th birthday, my baby has reached double figures..Her birthday fell on Father's Day this year and as a family we went ten pin bowling which was heaps of fun, on the friday before that she had several friends over for hotdogs a movie and a couple slept over. New Catalogues have started

I had my launch last Thursday night. I had 8 lovely ladies attend, they all had fun trying new products, taking part in a quiz ( which was too much like school) and catching up with others. A fun night had by all I think. My son prepared the snacks, Lemon Curd tarts and Caramel Tarts.

Busy Busy Busy

Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been super busy, working 3 set days a week, plus classes on the other 2 days, so something had to give, so this being one, and housework etc now gets rushed on a weekend, along with the washing etc.
Yesterday we had our Heartfelt event in Perth, I 'll be back later to tell you more, and show you pictures, lots learnt. Lots of inspiration. Lots to play with,

My favourite part would have had to been the Product Playground and Demo Booths, Charmaine Black did an awesome demo, showing how to use the reinkers differently to produce great backgrounds,I tried this technique this morning and when I have put it all together I will post a picture of it.
Loved seeing the new Decoration on the front of the holiday catalogue put together it really is something special.

Dinoraur Cards

I borrowed this stamp set from a customer a couple of weeks ago, for a play, I cased most of these cards off the internet. This sure was a fun set to play with, shame my boys are far too old to play and be interested in dinosaurs they were over 10years ago though.
I love the idea of the invite, I will post a closer picture up of that.

Revisiting Cards/Stamp sets that are Retiring...

I am often Sad when some of My favourite stamp sets retire, however once I've seen the new Catalogue that is usually short lived as I find new sets to love. Below are 2 that have been around for awhile Baroque Motifs found on page 92 and Upsy Daisy found on pg 65.
